End of next week I’ll be closing the shop forgood. It’s been fun and I wanna thank all my loyal friends, fans and customers for supporting what I hope will be remembered as sort of a cultural monument. Mac Fly was a place where young people shared their opinions on music and art, a lot of shit-talking went down and liters of coffee were consumed. It’s just financially impossible for me to keep doing this. Looking back, along with feelings of joy there’s definitely a lot of bitterness and frustration. I still have some stuff to deal with.
Nonetheless I wanna invite you all to sort of a remembrance thing this Saturday. Kerstkindje will be playing records, free wine & juice -as usual, fun times and hopefully some shopping as well.

Our release party last week was off the chain. Place was full / not packed. Good vibes, music lovers, inspiring & fresh music and Raskal, our support dj who I must say was quite impressed with. Cupp tore the roof off first, then it was my turn and around 1am Vaen took over the stage. Dude brought his desktop & flatscreen -talking about commitment. Proud to say these dudes, who’ve become friends, are two of my favorite producers. On the real. Needless to say when I was recently told we’re about to form a supergroup I’m like YNOT. Thanks to whoever came out, y’all made it a night to remember, now I got heads nagging me about when the next party’s goin down. Supply & demand? Something to think about.

Dude. I’m sooo startin a toy helicopter club. Was fun to see 20-30 year olds go crazy over these babies at the shop today; I mean when we were growin up it was our dream to be able to fly a little helicopter around the house. I’m told you can get these for like 30€. Who’s in? These were the best shots I could get, errbody was amped as foog.

I’m sorry for the lack of updates, but I promise it’s for the best. Happen to be working on a cool little project you’ll definitely hear more about within the next couple weeks. Here’s a quick 10 minute mix I just put up -all own stuff. Thanks again Marika!
